Als Resultat eines Rechercheaufenthalts und Reiseprojektes macht die Serie Aspekte von earthworks und sites sicht- und hörbar, die über die brachiale Materialität der Interventionen in der Landschaft hinausgehen. Sie fängt Schatten, Geräusche, atmosphärischen Eigenschaften bis Aspekte der Abwesenheiten ein und hinterfragt die Grenzen von Kunstwerk und Landschaft.

DOUBLE NEGATIVE belongs to the series 27 desert days, a series of 8 works dealing with the Land Art movement of the 1960s / 70s. As a result of a research visit and travel project, the series makes visible and audible aspects of earthworks and sites that go beyond the brute materiality of landscape interventions. It captures shadows, sounds, atmospheric characteristics, aspects of absences, and questions the boundaries between artwork and landscape.
